Build Trust with Families and Facilities

I first got exposure to the medical world through my mom, who was Director of Nursing at a rehabilitation facility. On weekends, I worked there and saw firsthand what patients and staff dealt with behind the scenes, especially when it came to transportation.

Patients relied on insurance arranged rides to get to critical medical appointments, but the process was often frustrating. Drivers were late or did not show up, appointments scheduled weeks in advance were missed, and communication was inconsistent. Staff spent valuable time chasing rides instead of focusing on patient care, and it was clear the system was not working.

That experience stayed with me. I realized there was a real need in South Florida for dependable, professional transportation at affordable rates. After getting my MBA, starting a Non Emergency Medical Transportation business felt like a meaningful and rewarding career change, and an opportunity to build a service centered on reliability, compassion, and putting people first.
